Dr.-Ing. Martin Rabe

Martin Rabe is an engineer and business development manager for digital transformation at Fraunhofer IEM based in Germany. Fraunhofer is the leading organization for applied research in Europe with more than 26,600 employees. One of the service offerings is consulting cities in finding a strategy to transform into a smart city - from a technical and business point of view. Martin draws on five years of consulting experience and is specialized in digital business models for companies and cities. The topic of his doctoral thesis is the conception of Smart Services for manufacturing companies. In addition, he leads a project of Fraunhofer IEM in Malaysia with the aim to open a local branch.
